Gucci introduces three exclusive bags at the Italian house's Marina Bay Sands boutique. The specially created Jackie, Boston and Diana bags all feature a cheery sunflower leather trim on printed flower canvas.
It is said that for the history of this collection; the zesty illustration of vibrant flowers in full bloom was first commissioned for Princess Grace of Monaco, on the occasion of her visit to the Via Monte Napoleone boutique in 1966. The famed artist Vittorio Accornero was invited to create a floral pattern for a bespoke silk scarf for Princess Grace. The end result was an iconic print that has been reinterpreted over the years on various precious objects from Gucci.
This year's limited edition Gucci Flora bags are available from November 2012.
