The Dior darling for Spring has been revealed: Jennifer Lawrence of the Hunger Games is the new face for the French house's famous line of bags. The Oscar Award nominee will be seen on billboards everywhere from March next year.
Understandably, the bubbly 22 year old has said she is delighted to be fronting such a high-profile campaign: “It’s such a dream to represent an iconic brand that is synonymous with high fashion. I’m so excited to be working with the fashion house and wear the new creations by Raf Simons."
On his part, Slimane, Dior's new Creative Director had this to say of the upcoming collaboration: "Like the whole world, I first discovered Jennifer Lawrence as a young action hero. Her youth and her classic beauty, but also the feminine strength and complexity that she can portray at such a young age, are for me very unique and very appealing."
With Mila Kunis already on board for Fall, Dior's youthful new ambassadors are sure to captivate a new audience of style- and status-conscious bag lovers.
